This is a story of the human mind and soul, of which is often unbalanced, good and evil struggling to take control of a person and their deeds. When a scientific doctor tries to separate those two forces within himself, he divides himself and looses all control. This is the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Mr. Hyde is the evil half of the doctor, insane, deformed, and on the run. Whereas Dr. Jekyll is the identity of the doctor’s good side, compassion, and passion overall. Yes it is considered a piece of classic literature but I personally do not find it to be very easy to get into. I only really got into it about half way through and only remember larger plot points such as the experiment and the separation of the two personalities.
Overall, if you love the classics, science fiction, and Halloween all blended together, I recommend it. If not, go read something else.
